MENTORING AND TUTORING

This program is for Junior High and High school students ages 12-18.
It is open to any student who needs extra attention to aid in
their studies, matriculation and college preparations. One night a
week we make our facilities available for a central meeting place for students and mentors/tutors. Tutoring for math, science, English,
Spanish, and social studies are available.

This is a free program and driven by volunteers. Mentors/Tutors
have teaching backgrounds and in most cases have a current
teaching certificate.They come from diverse backgrounds and varied teaching disciplines. We run background checks on all mentors to
ensure the safety of the children involved with the program.

Parents of students are not only welcome to attend sessions, but
we strongly encourage them to actively participate in the success
and future of their children.
